I’m Bec , a 25 year old Mummy to a little boy Frankie who will be 3 in November and we’re from Essex. I work as an EA in the City Monday through Wednesday and as a PA to a cheeky demanding dictator with a passion for all things Thomas the Tank Engine Thursday through Sunday.
After finding time to stop digressing the reasons not to try my hand at blogging, I decided in April 2018 to take the plunge and start up a blog page and here it is ‘thetwentyishmum’ – I hope you like it!
I’m one of those Mums that WANTS to make time for Pilates on a Sunday morning, eat acai bowls and remember to drink green tea every day – in reality I’m one of those Mums that tries the 5:2 diet most weeks, hides her muffin top and eats a family size bag of kettle crisps in the evenings just because. I love Captain Morgans Spiced Rum, diffusers, Dwayne Johnson, TK Maxx, dungarees on babies, going out for dinner, Giovanna Fletcher, reading Paige Toon books, holidays, Soap & Glory, H&M everything, prosecco brunches, any kinds of bargain with money off or in a sale and reading (dropping) books in the bath.
This year marks my third year of entering the ballot for the London Marathon, which I got into! Here’s to Dementia Revolution 2019 and a heck of a lot of running! I avidly support and fundraise for Dementia UK and Alzheimer’s Society and sadly lost my Nan to the awful disease earlier this year.
