Lets Talk to Mummy’s Tummy by Helen Lacey *gifted*

Book: Let’s Talk to Mummy’s Tummy
Author: Helen Lacey
Illustrated: Carla Moreno

Lets Talk to Mummy’s Tummy is a beautifully written and illustrated book for us Mummas to read to soon to be siblings.

Throughout the book there are prompts and questions to engage you and your little ones in reading the book week by week and covers key milestones during your pregnancy. Pages asking if baby will be here by the time their birthdays come, if they can practice helping with a teddy bear & my personal favourite a back rub!

It feels as though Helen Lacey has written the book for your little one, as though she has stepped out of the book and into your home to help read and guide the book with you!

I have loved reading this book to Frankie, it perfectly sums up the journey they’re about to embark on as a big sibling incorporating how you as Mama may be feeling during pregnancy e.g. sickness, tired, nervous and reassuring them how loved they are.

If you are expecting a baby and have children already I’d recommend buying ‘Lets Talk to Mummy’s Tummy’ and have told all of my pregnant friends! Frankie has LOVED learning about his unborn brother and asks questions every day that we try to find the answer for whilst reading of an evening.

Lets Talk to Mummy’s Tummy is the perfect accompaniment to second+ time pregnancies for your little ones. We will keep our copy forever!

This wonderful blog made me cry Rebecca! I especially loved how you said “it’s like she’s written it for our home” as that’s exactly what I had in mind when writing it. I wanted the book to feel special for every child and Mama reading it together. I’m thrilled you both love it -makes me so happy! Please keep in touch and let me know when baby has arrived! Much love, Helen L x
