SEA LIFE London Aquarium

We decided to visit SEA LIFE London Aquarium on my recent week off of annual leave & had a fab few hours exploring. We pre-booked our tickets online and saved rather than paying on the day.

When you visit the SEA Life London Aquarium there are also money saving discounts online and in the box office to, The London Dungeon, Madame Tussauds London, Shrek’s Adventure! London or The Coca-Cola London Eye too. I didn’t realize before we booked that Shrek’s Adventure! London also has a How to Train Your Dragon section now or we definitely would of booked it up! You also have up to 90 days from the date visiting the first attraction so you don’t have to do them all on the same day. SEA Life London – Tickets.

There were thousands of fish and so many different types to see, our favourite highlights were the sharks, jellyfish and the sting rays. We also got to stroke a star fish, well I did Frankie couldn’t do it he’s a bit of a wimp with touching creatures!

The jellyfish area was by far the best in my opinion, I had no idea that they came in so many shapes, sizes & morphs. I was mesmerized, more so than Frankie but it was honestly unreal!

We loved the Rainforest Adventure! with Ranger Andy, it’s such a well done area with fake foliage and rainforest noises, Frankie was bemused by it & I loved watching the snakes and reading the snippets on the tropical animals.

Unfortunately the Penguins were sectioned off when we visited, though we were given a half price voucher to come back in the next six months which we will take advantage off in the summer! A Polar Adventure exhibit is coming Easter time too which we’d enjoy coming back to visit, with animated Polar Bears & Seals.

Walking around is buggy and wheelchair friendly, there are toilets dotted about too (which I utilized at every corner! #pregnantproblems.

I’d definently recommend to anyone visiting London with or without kids, it is well worth bundling up to save and visiting a few attractions along the Southbank. There’s food outlets, a McDonalds next door, carousel & street acts Frankie loves to watch.

We traveled Basildon – London Fenchurch Street on the C2C, walked from there to Borough Market, had brunch in The Breakfast Club which me and Frankie smashed! & got the 381 bus to County Hall & the jubilee line back.
