The most wonderful time of the year is almost upon us & soon will be the dark nights and the Christmas lights will be turning on in your local town!
I used to love going to watch the Christmas lights be turned on, whether it be the lead in the pantomime that year or an X Factor reject, (I was lucky enough to be in Basildon the year Shane Richie did it! – not bragging..) it’s a great event to bring together the local community! Towns such as Maldon & Leigh-On-Sea have gone all out this year and promise to not only be a night of lights but stalls & choir festivities to follow!
This will be our first year taking Frankie and I want to cram in as many as I can! The light turn ons are a fun, free & festive way to start off the Christmas feeling and what better way to do it than supporting your local town with a mulled wine and a mince pie in the middle of the town!?
I will update the list whenever I get more information, if you know any more than I do feel free to message and share x ho ho ho:
